Common questions
What is MoneyMoves?
MoneyMoves is an Australia-first personal finance web app. It helps you see safe daily spend, understand tax and HECS, compare super, link bank accounts, set goals and get AI guidance — all in one dashboard.
Is MoneyMoves built for Australians?
Yes. MoneyMoves uses AUD, Australian tax brackets, HELP/HECS repayments, superannuation tools and open-banking integrations designed for Australian users — not generic US templates.
Do I need to link my bank account?
No. You can enter income and expenses manually and still use safe spend, tax, super, goals and coaching tools. Bank linking is optional and helps automate categorisation and cash-flow forecasts.
Is MoneyMoves free to start?
Yes. You can create a free account and use the overview dashboard, goals, manual accounts, investments, Aussie tax and HECS estimates, and your monthly savings pool. Premium is $10 per month when you want bank sync and advanced planning tools.
What does Premium include?
Premium unlocks bank feed linking, super projections, property tracking, the cash flow calendar, the wealth simulator with what-if sliders, and the AI coach with health score, insights and weekly brief — on top of everything in Free.
How does the cash flow calendar work?
MoneyMoves forecasts your monthly inflows and outflows so you can see runway, upcoming bills and whether you are on track before month-end. With bank feeds connected, it stays updated from your transactions.
Does MoneyMoves calculate HECS and Australian tax?
Yes. MoneyMoves estimates income tax using Australian brackets and includes HELP/HECS repayment logic so you can see take-home pay and repayment impact alongside your broader plan.
Is MoneyMoves financial advice?
No. MoneyMoves provides general information and planning tools only. It does not replace licensed financial, tax or legal advice.
